How should I use Rhinocort aqua?

Gently blow your nose before using the nasal inhaler or nasal spray to clear any mucous.

To use the nasal inhaler:

Open the nasal inhaler by pressing on the arrow and rotating until it clicks into the locked position, then shake the inhaler several times. Place your thumb on the bottom of the unit (on the grid) while placing your index finger on the top of the canister. Wrap your fingers securely around the back. Press straight down on the canister to deliver a dose. Spray into the air 4 times before using the nasal inhaler for the first time. If the nasal inhaler is not used for 8 weeks or more, spray into the air 4 times before reuse.

Close one nostril and insert the end of the inhaler tube into the other nostril. Hold your breath and deliver a dose. If you are using more than one spray, repeat this procedure as directed. Repeat this process in your other nostril. For best results, shake the canister between sprays. Rotate the unit closed for storage.

To clean the nasal inhaler, remove the aerosol container and wash the plastic parts in warm water, with the addition of mild soap if necessary. Allow the plastic parts to dry completely and then replace the container.
